Properties

Asset One is a young company and was founded in 2005.
On the other hand, the properties that it owns have been acquired over generations.

In 2005, Asset One acquired the properties that were no longer necessary for the business of the Brau Union in Austria.

At the present time, Asset One owns some 1.0 million square metres of land, more than 800,000 of which is designated construction land in Salzburg, Schwechat and above all Graz.

A very old settlement area, the ground of the former Sternbrauerei lies in a quarry, which provided the stone for many of the most beautiful palaces and churches in the city of Salzburg.
Future utilisation
It is intended to construct exclusive apartments, artists’ studios and an architectural centre on this unique development site. Special features
The former Reininghaus brewery is surrounded by a whole municipal district. Like a sleeping beauty, which is waiting to be awoken with a kiss. This district is characterised by magnificent avenues with pyramid-shaped poplars, the old ice ponds and historically interesting brewery buildings and spacious open areas at present only used for agriculture. On this property can be found former brewery buildings, which have partially been adapted for renting out. One of the buildings is a former excursion centre of the brewery, and has a cinema and an architecturally impressive banqueting hall. Beneath the buildings and a part of the open space is the former storage basement, which has several levels and is many thousands of square metres in size.
Future utilisation
Decisive for future utilisation will be the development of Schwechat towards the Vienna-Bratislava axis. There are great expectations for this commercial area.
